This winery has been in the same family producing lovely Chianti Rufina since 1827! We love old family wineries because they tend to regard their operations as an extension of themselves. This is predominantly Sangiovese with a small amount Caniaolo in the blend; it's fermented in temperature controlled stainless steel before aging in oak. Wonderful balance and structure are the hallmarks of this Tuscan beauty.
Pasta Bolognese, Grilled Fish, Cheeses, very versatile!
