Serious Alpine Red!
This wine is made only in the best vintages by the same winery as the Petite Arvine. It is 100% Petit Rouge; a grape indigenous to Valle d'Aoste. To be designated a Superiore the wine must be aged at least 8 months in barrel, though this sees a full year. Ruby red with purple tint, the nose and palate offer notes of violets and black cherries. This bottle manages to have a fresh character and earthy notes at the same time. Delicious!
