From terrior identical to Italy's Collio region
Three generations of the Kabaj family had tended their own vineyards in Slovenia's Goriška Brda, but it wasn't until they hired a French winemaker named Jean-Michel Morel to help out that they offered their wine commercially. Before long, Jean-Michel married into the family and has been dedicated to raising the quality since. In this release, the Rebula spends 30 days on the skins before a year of aging in oak. Full bodied and golden, with notes of peach, this wine has a very long and attractive finish.
