For centuries, the valley of Esclans has been famous for its grapes, which once adorned Roman tables! The Domaine de Jas d'Esclans is mentioned in records dating to the 13th century. From the "De Wulf" family comes this distinctive and deep red. When we first tried it, we went back to it on day 2 and it was even better! This is a wine meant to be savored in the glass -- loads of black fruit, spices and leather...indeed a large scale red.
Goes well with big steaks, fuller meals, bold cheeses
