Christian Bergeret Et Fille Beaune Rouge 2010

Classic, old school and elegant Red Burgundy.
We first carried the Chassagne-Montrachet Rouge from Clotilde (the youngest daughter of the winery namesake Christian Bergeret), and it was a delicate yet beautiful wine. The recent addition of the Beaune rouge is no different, with a lighthearted elegance in the nose and mouth. The age of the Pinot Noir vines averages 35 years, which adds to the overall complexity. However, this is truly a feminine, delicate Burg that never gets to a point where it's ripe or heavy. If you're a fan of pretty Pinot from the Old World, this is the bottle for you.
